Role description
The Client Service Operational Excellence team partners with Client Service, Technology, Operations, and Business leadership to deliver, drive, and promote global Service process consistency and standards. We are focused on moving the Service capabilities from lower to higher-value added tasks, and creating agile processes, teams and infrastructure that enable differentiated client experiences and outcomes. We follow a hypothesis-driven, data-informed approach to identify opportunities and employ co-design principles to create effective, scalable, well controlled solutions. Those solutions seek to differentially equip our people and support their development as professionals of the future. We serve the broader organization and maintain a service-oriented attitude in all that we do.
As an Operations Excellence Analyst Associate, you'll drive structure and discipline around each initiative using standard project deliverables and frameworks, including establishing scope and performing detailed business impact analysis in support of management decisions. Additionally, you'll define roles and responsibilities, establish and document requirements, resolve resource/scheduling conflicts, escalate and ensure issues/decisions are resolved, manage changes to project scope, document and complete testing requirements, create and manage implementation plans, and lead/participate in meetings at the operational and project level. You'll provide continuous feedback on project status and issues and serve as the overall escalation point to ensure the project tracks to original expectations.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain deep relationships with delivery partners across including senior leaders in the Business, Technology, Design, Operations, and control functions across lines of business.
- Embody true "client-obsession" in identifying and leveraging user data, industry trends, and varying forms of user feedback to shape our design and roadmap.
- Project analysis, including documenting business requirements, detailing issues and risks, and drafting business processes and data flows
- Develop and implement solutions that strengthen business operating models, enhance the client experience, and improve efficiency and controls
- Data analysis, including data collection, synthesis, and translation of results into concrete actionable solutions
- Identify gaps between applicable requirements and current procedures/controls and participate in driving resolution of mitigating controls
Qualifications
- Experience leveraging change mobilization principles to deliver an improved employee experience and better client outcomes
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, ability to effectively facilitate problem resolution
- Experience with process mapping and analysis. Demonstrated ability to think beyond raw data and to understand the underlying business context and sense business opportunities hidden in data.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, with strong attention to detail
- Strong project management skills excelling in time management, organization, planning and follow up skills
- Ability to own, coordinate and drive initiatives to completion
- Be a team player who shows commitment and dedication while maintaining a positive attitude and high level of performance on high profile/time-sensitive initiatives
- Experience in working with a large, complex organization to bring the appropriate stakeholders together, including ability to interact with senior and mid-level management
- Signavio, Alteryx, Xceptor or Tableau core certification required
- Advanced skills in Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience in the financial services industry
- Excellent analytical and logical thinking to understand and analyze complex business processes
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, detail oriented, and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze and resolve project-related issues and follow through with set objectives
- Ability to deal with different stakeholder groups to elicit business requirements, procedures, and processes

- Expert-level skill in advanced Tableau development concepts
- Strong SQL knowledge - demonstrated through active usage of SQL to query and engineer data
- 3 years experience in data management projects, preferably in the financial services domain
- Advanced Alteryx Certification strongly preferred; Core certification minimum
- Intermediate/Advanced experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
