Urgent Needs For HHA/CNA

Looking for fully vaccinated, responsible, and compassionate License Nursing Assistants to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in nursing facilities in accordance with an established care plan near Coventry, RI.

Responsibilities

• Assists with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) by serving meals and feeding patients as needed; grooming and bathing patients with low mobility; helping patients ambulate; and turning, positioning, and transferring patients.
• Maintains a comfortable, orderly, safe, and clean environment for patients
• Medication reminders as directed by the care plan, nurse, and/or physician
• Preparing each patient's room with necessary items like blankets, pillows, medical equipment, and bathroom needs
• Monitoring vitals and patient behavior and reporting them to the nursing and medical staff
• Assisting patients with mobility needs, transferring them from wheelchair to bed
• Turning or adjusting patients in bed to prevent bedsores or other discomforts
• Exercising patients by helping them walk
• Checking vital signs such as blood pressure and heart rate

Requirements

• CNA/HHA certified and licensed by the state of RI

Schedule: 8-hour or 16-hour shifts (16 hours with double shifts)

• 7 am - 3 pm
• 3 pm - 11 pm
• 11 pm to 7 am

COVID-19 considerations:

• This facility is requiring all workers to be fully vaccinated including the booster shot.

Education: High school or GED (preferred)

• Salary varies with experience

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Providence, RI: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
• CNA (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
