Job Description
Accura HealthCare of Cherokee, located in Cherokee, IA, is a 48-bed Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) with an additional 28 beds dedicated to Assisted Living (AL). We are seeking a Universal Worker to join our team. In this essential healthcare role, you provide foundational care and support to our residents.

CURRENT NEEDS: Part-time; 6am-6pm

**WE WILL PAY FOR THE MEDICATION MANAGER REQUIRED COURSE**

Job Summary: In this non-certified caregiving role, Universal Workers assist residents with activities of daily living, fostering resident’s independence and freedom of choice. Responsible for delivery of quality services, such as assisting with dining and cleaning, as well as medication administration, as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • If serving within Assisted Living, successful completion of Certified Medication Aide (CMA) or the Medication Manager course and/or ability to obtain within the first 30 days of employment.
  • Must be capable of performing the Essential Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
