Underwriter Assistant

Underwriting assistant provides support and assistance to underwriting staff

Performs administrative duties regarding renewal accounts, risk assessments, loss runs and loss ratings

May assist underwriters with the computations of rates and premiums

Must have proficient Microsoft Office Suite Skills

Must have excellent attention to detail

Must have excellent communication both written and oral

Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritizing skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with Outlook being a must and basic skills of word and excel

Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat Pro with manipulating of PDF files

Ability to follow instructions and be able to work independently

Strong basic math and accounting skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
