Swedish Medical Group is looking for a Ultrasonographer (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to work in Ballard Obstetrical Clinic at Swedish Medical Group in Seattle, WA.

Under the general supervision, performs diagnostic medical sonographic exams, assists physician as required, and performs related duties as assigned.
In this position you will:
- Communicates effectively with patients, physicians and staff in a professional manner.
- Provides clear, concise, pertinent reports/information.
- Releases files as needed following proper protocol and policy.
- Performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures as ordered by a physician following evaluation of the physical conditions of the patient to include the appropriateness of the procedure. Consults with Radiologist as needed.
- Assists with patient scheduling as required.
Qualifications:
Required qualifications for this position include:
- Successful completion of an accredited Ultrasound training program or
- Education and experience sufficient to meet eligibility requirements to take American Registry of Diagnostic Ultrasonographers (ARDMS) registry examination.
- ARDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) registry eligible. Registered status will be required within the first year of employment.
- Cross-registered in Radiology desirable.
- Current BLS Healthcare provider (must be AHA accredited).
- 2 years of Ultrasound Tech experience
