Description:
Provides a variety of ultrasound procedures on all age groups served by the entity. Safely ensures quality images. Participates in the department continuous quality improvement process. Ensures customer satisfaction and appropriateness of care for all assigned patients.Qualifications:

High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper. Basic Life Support ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Additional Qualifications: Graduate of an approved AMA Council on Education Program in Ultrasound Technology or Radiologic Technology. Registration:Ultrasound Technologist 1 - Recent graduate. ARDMS eligible. Must obtain ARDMS certification related to the department clinical needs within 1 year of graduation. Experience: Six month experience in an acute care setting preferred. Minimum Required Experience: Less than 1 Year
