Job Description

As a User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Project Manager , you’ll keep an innovative delivery team firing all cylinders and lead the end-to-end user acceptance activities in support of the release and deployment of Direct-to-Consumer deliveries. As a critical effectiveness advisor, the UAT Project Manager will oversee assigned projects/programs and apply exceptional technical, communication, and interpersonal skills, providing timely and concise information across the organization, ensuring effective deployment.

The UAT Project Manager works collaboratively across functions to include, but is not limited to, partnering with the Product, Experience, business stakeholders, and Technology teams to ensure that projects are ready for launch and optimized to meet and exceed the overall user objectives.

RESPONSIBILITY

  • Oversee the planning, documentation, reporting process, and milestone tracking of UAT
  • Coordinate, compile and communicate cross-program schedules on an on-going basis to ensure proper task to resource needs are being met for all QA requirements.
  • Accountable for overseeing the E2E program UAT within the pre-defined test timetable, as well as cross-train peer resources on UAT tracking and reporting needs with an ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical people.
  • Monitor and report progress to ensure a successful UAT.
  • Assess and compile defect entries into an online defect database detailing all the test steps necessary to reproduce the encountered error, the expected behavior, and recommendations for resolutions or work around solutions and assist in the ongoing triage of those reported defects.
  • Establish and manage UAT timelines; forecast hours, and coordinate with cross-functional partners.
  • Work with both internal and external partners to execute project deliverables.
  • Keep your project lead apprised of project scope and/or timeline concerns and provide resolution options to avoid issues with the E2E program schedules.
  • Support the Project Lead in program communications; to ensure all stakeholders are apprised of status, requirements, and potential risks.
  • Track and update project details in Jira.
  • Ensure documentation is secured and stored in the appropriate systems (Aha! Or Confluence).
  • Organize and facilitate project team meetings, including daily stand-ups, retrospectives, etc.
  • Focus on continuous improvement; define and implement new processes and workflows as needs arise.
  • Communicate in a timely and effective manner.
  • Foster positive and collaborative relationships with cross-functional business partners.

  • You can comfortably represent the project team in all cross-functional resourcing meetings. You will ensure briefs are complete before they are briefed groups, ensuring deliverables are clear, and all relevant information is in them before the proposed briefing.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years of experience in project management, e-commerce, and production, ideally with direct exposure to coordination and leading user acceptance testing.
  • Strong collaboration, communication (verbal/written), and interpersonal skills
  • Great affinity for developing relationships with both internal and external partners
  • Ability to quickly shift priorities to meet deadlines based on ever-changing calendars
  • Ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects at once and effectively keep projects on track and in scope
  • Proven ability to pivot quickly and prioritize assignments - yours and others'

  • Excellent communications skills and ability to manage competing priorities and provide options for your business partners

The anticipated starting salary range for Colorado-based individuals expressing interest in this position is $100 -130K. This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program.
