The Truckload Administrative position: Tracking inbound / outbound product and maintaining an accurate inventory of product. Working with the Shipper, Carriers and Consignees to get appointments set up to deliver promptly. Tracking and tracing loads, obtaining POD’s, getting loads closed to bill out, and communicating problems immediately to management as identified. Entering orders/loads into the computer and updating load status daily. Performing other duties as needed and for assisting in unloading/loading freight as needed
The position requires the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Capable of performing and maintaining inventories
- Proficient data entry skills 30+ wpm with accuracy
- Familiar with use of RFID devices
- Competent with Computers/Software (primarily MS Office applications Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Competent with operating a Propane powered sit-down forklift safely and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor with internal/external Customers
