Tree Crew Members

*Tree Crew Member/Groundsman
*Williams Brothers Tree and Lawn Service, Inc. in Staunton, VA. is looking for a fulltime Tree Crew Member/Groundsman. We are a local, family owned business with 20 + years of reputable service.

Primary Job includes:

• Must be reliable, have a valid driver’s permit that is insurable by corporate agent and own transportation.
• You need to be able to work cooperatively as part of a team, be eager to learn, have a good attitude and work ethic.
• Maintain work records on a daily basis
• Loading/unloading equipment/tools
• Keeping work area clear of debris, cleaning up limbs and branches as they are brought down in tree cutting work. Raking area clear to maintain the safety zone.
• Feeding limbs, debris into chipper
• Driving to and from customer’s homes
• Assisting climbers with roping
• Using chainsaws to cut trees/shrubs into manageable pieces
• Lower branches with ropes or block tackle
• Work outdoors in all seasons
• Willing to learn to climb a plus
• Operate equipment such as brush chipper, loader, chainsaw and other equipment
• Adhere to all safety rules and company regulations
• Must be able to pass a background check & drug screening
• CDL license a plus

Pay: $15.00 - $95.00 per hour

Experience:

• Tree care: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
