Job Description

The position of project superintendent is a key role in the execution of our projects. The following job description is an overview of the duties and responsibilities that each Superintendent must be able to execute for the success of our project. Daily attention to detail is a needed tool for all our superintendents.

Experience
To become a Crestline Construction Superintendent you must have a minimum of (5) years of Multifamily Construction Experience.
Communication
All projects must have strong communication. Each of the Project Superintendents must have strong communications skills.
Drawings
All Crestline Superintendents must have the ability to read and interpret drawings, civil, structural, and architectural.
Daily Reports
Superintendents are required to maintain daily reports. Those are completed accurately and with attention to detail.
Staff Meetings
Project Superintendents are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the job site. This means that each Superintendent must have the ability to hold daily staff meetings.
Sub Contractor Meetings
Weekly Subcontractor meetings are required. Each Superintendent will be required to create an agenda and submit it to subcontractors 48 hours before the scheduled subcontractor meeting.
Safety Inspections
Crestline superintendents must strictly adhere to all OSHA and company safety protocols. Daily safety checklists must be completed.
Procore
Crestline Construction uses Procore as our project management software. All Superintendents must be fully proficient in all Procore functions.
Schedule Management

Project Schedules are a key part of each project. Project Superintendents must be able to read and interpret schedules from both Primavera and MS Project. All Superintendents will be required to review the schedule and direct company resources in accordance with timelines
Two Week Look Ahead
Project Superintendents will be required to create and maintain a project “two weeks look ahead” plan that is both reviews with the project team as well as each Subcontractor.
Quality Control
Quality is a key component of all of our projects. Our Project Superintendents are required to maintain quality in every aspect of our projects. All punch list items must be signed off by the project superintendent.
Inventory Control
Strong Inventory controls are always a part of a good project. Project superintendents must maintain strict controls over all stored items.
Technology
The use of technology is an important skill set that each superintendent must have. Laptops, email, cell phones, and Procore are all part of the daily duties of Crestline employees.
Problem Solving Skills
The ability to resolve problems that arise is a key function of all superintendents. Crestline Superintendents must possess the ability to resolve issues as they are presented with them.
Email
An email is a common form of communication. All project superintendents must have the ability to craft a professional email that reflects proper respect to the recipient as well as solid grammar.
Team First Approach
