Graduate of an Accredited Nurse Practitioners Program with preferenced clinical focus on Surgery and/or Critical Care Current A.N.P. Licensure in New York State Successful completion and maintenance of Board Certification in Adult Nursing as a practitioner (general or specialized) from the ANCC or the AANP within one year of hire Collaborative Practice Agreement with the Medical Director of the Trauma Program Current BLS &/or ACLS & PALS Certifications Required. ATLS Preferred upon hire and will be required within 1 year of hire date
Working Conditions: Work is primarily indoors with exposure to various nursing unit and/or patient care elements. Travel to outside facilities is possible.
Physician AssistantPOSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of an Accredited Physician’s Assistant Program Current Physician’s Assistant Licensure in New York State Successful completion and maintenance of National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants Supervising Practice Agreement with the Medical Director of the Trauma Program or their designee within the scope of practice of such supervising physician Current BLS &/or ACLS & PALS Certifications required. ATLS Certification preferred- will be required within 1 year of hire.
