Pure Fishing, Inc., a leading global provider of fishing tackle, lures, rods and reels, is seeking a Transportation Analyst who will join a global team dedicated to creating value by identifying opportunities for improvement, and conceptualizing and implementing innovative solutions to optimize our global transportation network and drive cost savings.
Reporting to the Director of Global Transportation, this role will require a combination of skill sets ranging from global project management and implementation, to global transportation data analysis, and operations management. The enablers of success will be identifying opportunities in the data, eliminating redundancy, replacing manual processes with automation, and gaining influence across functional groups by telling an effective story.
Role Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead global, cross-functional high-profile projects, relating to freight data consolidation (single source of truth) and analysis, global network planning, development and optimization, inbound/outbound/3P shipment visibility, RFP implementation, and cost savings
- Manage the day-to-day interactions and strategic long-term partnership with our Freight Bill Audit & Payment provider.
- Partner with our Direct to Consumer teams to establish freight policies, best in class practices, and last mile solutions.
- Ensure the flow of merchandise to our customers throughout our entire outbound global supply chain (North America, EMEA, APAC) is on-time, and damage and loss free, by resolving carrier operational issues, tracking on-time performance, and maintaining service levels.
- Team with IT, Customer Support, Global Sourcing, and Planning & Replenishment to evaluate current processes, create process mapping, identify areas for automation.
- Act as the gatekeeper and manager of all global transportation provider service agreements, contracts, and global freight rates.
- Partner with Supply Chain IT to ensure freight rates are properly loaded and tested enabling our outbound freight optimization tools are programmed properly.
- Develop and maintain executive report dashboards using existing BI tools.

Role Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required; a supply chain/logistics degree is preferred.
- 5 years experience in a Retail, Consumer Packaged Goods, or Manufacturing Supply Chain role.
- Project management experience working with internal and external partners (IT, transportation providers, and key stakeholders across multiple business groups) is required.
- Proficiency in MS Office required, advanced knowledge in Excel (V-lookup, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, Analysis-Tool-Pak, Macros). SAP experience preferred.
