Job Description


Purpose of Position:

The Training specialist will assist in the development of training programs to support the new HRMS system, Workday. The Training Specialist coordinates, delivers, facilitates, and continuously improves organizational and individual learning projects, programs, courses and curriculums.

Job Functions:

Creates engaging, positive, supportive, and impactful learning experiences for a diverse employee population

Curate and centralize learning content (videos, guides, presentations, etc…) for ease of access and use

Provides professional learning expertise, guidance, coaching, training facilitation, support and solutions for a variety of corporate learning & development programs

Cultivate and maintain collaborative relationships with all training partners (internal and external)

Lead training facilitation for team off-sites, summits and organizational-wide events, as needed

Implements and facilitates multiple learning & development programs at any given time

Evaluates the effectiveness of learning & development programs

Provides consultation and recommendations to drive business outcomes

Coordinates the delivery of corporate learning and development programs

Support other learning projects, as needed


Qualifications


Minimum Requirements:

3-5 years teaching, training and/or facilitation experience

Expert-level knowledge of virtual and in-person classroom management strategies

Passion for learning & development

Strong presentation and facilitation skills

Experience developing training materials (e.g. presentations, videos, guides, etc.)

Entrepreneurial, persistent, and resourceful, with the ability to learn quickly

Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong working relationships

Experience in virtual and in-person training facilitation and engagement techniques

Proficiency in learning tools and platforms (e.g. LMS, Articulate, Zoom, etc…)


Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Instructional Design, Education

Professional Training Certification(s) and/or Teaching Credential(s)


Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand for long periods of time in order to deliver training

Must be able to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends

Must have reliable transportation

Must be able to travel occasionally overnight
