Training Specialist I - Secondary

Under the direction of the Director of Training and Diversity, the incumbent is considered a trainee and will become certified in required training programs offered by the Mashantucket Pequot Academy. Through the certification process, the incumbent facilitates various training programs in connection with management, development, on-the- job training, and employee orientation. Maintains records of training activities, costs, employee attendance/progress, and monitors effectiveness of programs. High school diploma or GED required.

One (1) year of supervisory/management experience or two years in hospitality/service industry training required. Must have group presentation skills. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook). Strong interpersonal, consulting, analytical, and project management skills are required.
