Sodexo Healthcare has an exciting opportunity for a highly passionate and experienced Environmental Services Training Manager II at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center located in Cleveland, Ohio. Among the nation’s leading academic medical centers, UH Cleveland Medical Center has more than 1,000 licensed beds and is located in the heart of Cleveland’s University Circle on a beautiful 35-acre campus. Hours are generally Mon-Fri. dayshift (hours may vary to meet client need).
The scope of this position includes the oversight of new hire onboarding, training and staff development for all Environmental Services employees and managers. This Training Manager will create, develop and implement Sodexo training programs to approximately 400 employees. Additional responsibilities will include maintaining documentation of the following: new hire onboarding, training records, QA documentation, and Third Party Satisfaction records. Ideal candidates will have prior Environmental Services / Custodial Management experience in a healthcare environment and excellent presentation skills, communication skills and interpersonal skills. Candidates must be knowledgeable in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook). The ability to engage large and small audiences is desired.

Position Summary: Administers, organizes and conducts training and educational programs in connection with management and promotional development, on-the-job training, and employee orientation. Identifies training needs. Understands training resources in Division. Maintains records of training activities and employee progress. Monitors effectiveness of programs. Generally delivers training that is pre-prepared. Reports to GM. Position exists only in large or complex units. Qualifications & Requirements: Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience – 1 year in technical area
