Job Description
The Instructor II provides job and certification training, demonstrating proper procedures and standards in a classroom setting and/or in regular operating conditions in the health system. Courses taught are advanced level (such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, ENPC)
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse) or current Montana Licensure (Paramedic)
- Current Instructor certification in disciplines to be taught
Essential Job Functions:
- Conducts courses according to American Heart Association Guidelines, or specific course requirements and Training Center and Education Department Policies and Procedures.
- Sets up room, equipment, supplies, record keeping documents, and audio-visual equipment for each course in consideration of enrollment numbers and roles of collaborating instructors.
- Completes cleaning, take down, and secure storage of equipment, supplies, audio-visual equipment, and documentation.
- Coordinates course teaching assignments with Education Department staff.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer applications, MS Office, internet applications and standard office equipment.
- Detail oriented, organizational skills and the ability to prioritize.
- Strong emotional intelligence, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
