The University of Notre Dame (ND.jobs) is accepting applications for a Ticket Office Assistant Manager.

The Ticket Office Assistant Manager (TOAM) assists the Ticket Office Manager (TOM) in running the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center (DPAC) ticket officea 7-day per week operation during the academic year. In concert with the TOM, the TOAM will share the quotidian tasks of ticketing operations. The TOAM is primarily responsible for building events into Tessitura, updating TNEW, managing the student schedule, and managing cash and bank deposits. The TOAM assists the TOM, but in the TOM's absence, the TOAM is responsible for the equipment, software, and supplies necessary to serve the customers and clients of the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center. The TOAM shares the responsibility for daily sales operations and cash management, creating reports for short-term and long-term planning, reconciling ticket office financial reports to credit card and university accounting reports. The TOAM implements the sales of tickets for all clients of DPAC which includes, but is not limited to the President's Office, Provost's Office, Development, Alumni Association, Nanovic Institute, South Bend Symphony, the Department of Film Television and Theatre, Department of Music, Department for Sacred Music and the Fischoff National Chamber Music Association. The TOAM works with DPAC's Director of Marketing and Communications to execute the marketing and sales strategies of DPAC's presenting series, film series, National Theatre Live, and Metropolitan Opera. The TOAM oversees merchandise sales before, during, and after performances, and is responsible for the management of cash for concession sales.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree or higher
  • 1-2 years experience in sales, customer service, or the like
  • Strong computer proficiency is necessary (Google, Excel, Word, etc)
  • Must be able to multitask while working with multiple interruptions; strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people; strong attention to detail; forward-thinking and able to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Tessitura or Ticket Office experience
  • 1-2 years of Management experience
