Throwing Coach/Events Host

Stumpy’s Hatchet House is looking to hire a Throwing Coach/Events Host.

We want fun, energetic people to engage with our guests and keep things safe, while ensuring an incredible experience! STUMPY'S Hatchet House offers an alternative form of recreation. Escape the mundane, power down from the world, and step into the rustic scene of hatchet throwing. Primitive and organic, this sport suits those who love adventure, those who seek a release. Get back to the basics with hatchet throwing. Job Brief:

• The THROWING COACH is responsible for the safety and security of the customers.
• He/she will represent Stumpy’s in a positive and energetic manner to welcome each guest and teach how to effectively throw a hatchet to the target.

Responsibilities:

• Train guests of rules and regulations.
• Ensure guests are treated in a positive and enthusiastic way.
• Continuously monitor throwers to ensure safety of all guests.
• Assist guests with requests and needs.
• Replace target boards as needed.
• Sweep pit areas between throwing sessions.
• Keep tables clean of excess garbage.
• Empty garbage regularly and at end of shift.
• Clean & sanitize tables at end of shift.
• Clean & sanitize back bathroom.

Requirements:

• Ability to provide a welcoming and fun environment to customers.
• Excellent communication skills with both customers and fellow employees.
• Attention to detail and safety.
• Strong multitasking & problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well with diverse teams.

Salary:

• $12 per hour plus tips! Tips of up to $200 per week are seen routinely.
