Job Description
Location: San Diego, CA (Desired), open to virtual/remote (US based)
The Teradata University Enablement and Learning Operations Program Manager will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the learning environment for Teradata’s employees, partners, and customers. The Teradata University Enablement and Learning Operations Program Manager must drive successful operations of the Learning Management System (LMS), partnering with various business units and points of contact to deploy training programs and courses/classes to an internal and external audience of learners internationally.
The ideal candidate will be data driven, intellectually curious, a fast learner, and able to move quickly while maintaining focus on high impact projects aligned to a global strategy and to develop and make recommendations on learning technologies and process improvements. This is a full-time individual contributor position based in San Diego, CA.
Responsibilities:
Learning Technology Expertise
Technical expertise across broad range of learning technologies to ensure platforms and infrastructure are in place as required to deliver quality e-learning experience.
Helpdesk Training Support
Administer Teradata University training support: evaluate urgency of tasks, prioritize accordingly based off company needs, track support inquiries for resolution or escalation.
Support requests for pulling and building reports that range from training progress to course usage data.
Maintain support knowledge repository and processes for operational efficiency and consistency.
Curriculum and Course Lifecycle Maintenance and Support
Create and configure new courses and curriculums for both On-Demand and Instructor-Led training.
Centralized point of contact for all new Teradata University training deployments: 5-10 deployments per month.
Manage catalog and inquiries for active courses, LinkedIn Learning integrated courses, and curriculums.
Consult with stakeholders to translate program requirements into functionality and capabilities of Saba.
Enable and support learning contributors to streamline content management in Saba LMS.
Product Ownership for Saba Learning Management System (LMS)
Consult with stakeholders and other learning/enablement/education teams and departments to prioritize needs and drive business value
Lead monthly steering committee calls with stakeholders to align, prioritize, and consolidate the roadmap and learning portfolio for Teradata University.
Prepare for new product releases quarterly and identify how it will impact user experience, user interface, and support/process documentation.
Program/Project Management
Drive learning projects from inception to delivery
Minimum Requirements
2-5 years of experience in Learning Technology/Operations
BS or BA degree in Business, Education, Technology or other related discipline
Knowledge of Learning Management System (LMS) administration
Strong time management, communication, consulting, presentation and writing skills
Practical experience with prioritizing, scoping, and managing multiple projects
Excels in learning quickly and working independently
Proficient with Microsoft Excel to format and present data (pivot tables, filters, etc.)
Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint for developing business-level presentations
Preferred Experience
Practical experience implementing learning technology solution/platform
Practical experience working with IT and other technical groups/resources
