POSITION SUMMARY
We have an opportunity for a Teller Supervisor at our Blaisdell branch in St. Paul, MN. This position is responsible for the supervision of the branch’s teller staff, including: oversight of teller policies, procedures, regulations and guidelines, on-going training, supervision and evaluation of all teller functions of that bank location to ensure and maintain the highest level of customer service, compliance, and bank profitability. Responsible for ensuring that superior quality teller and vault services are provided. Responds to challenging customer inquiries.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Completes all duties of a branch teller.
- Oversee the daily Teller Operations of the branch.
- Provides leadership, direction, and assistance to tellers to ensure daily functions are completed.
- Responsible for teller vault operations.
- Promotes, counsels, and cross-sells all types of bank services to new and existing customers.
- Oversees the orientation of new employees to department policies and procedures, clearly communicating job duties and responsibilities.
- Oversees the on-going training of new and existing teller staff to ensure staff has the opportunity to successfully perform the requirements of their positions, including teller services, processes, procedures and adherence to related banking regulations.
- Responsible for the scheduled teller work hours and assignments in accordance with work load and customer traffic flow to ensure adequate, efficient staffing including PTO, Saturdays, etc.
- Coordinates with other branch Teller Supervisors and Branch Managers in the back up for Tellers in their absences to ensure that all work is completed within established guidelines.
- Assists Teller SME in branch Teller Audits and reports.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position supervises branch identified Tellers
Responsible for the hiring, performance management and development of these employees.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High school degree or GED Required
- Five (5) years teller operations experience preferred.
- Lead teller experience preferred.
- Previous supervisory experience beneficial.
- A superior skill set in Fiserv & Teller applications.
- Strong knowledge of teller operations and related regulations required.
