Job Description

Silver Lake Hospital of Newark, NJ is seeking to hire a full-time Telemetry Technician to monitor the heart rhythm patterns for our long-term acute care patients. Our full time Telemetry Technicians work (3) 12 hour shifts including every other weekend. Day and Night shift available.

Telemetry Technicians earn a competitive wage of $16.00/hour. POSITION SUMMARY

The Telemetry Technician identifies cardiac rhythm and efficiently communicates any dysrhythmia to Nurses and Physicians.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

1-33% of work time: Sitting, Standing, Walking, Pushing/Pulling, Climbing, Bending/Stooping, Twisting, Lifting/Carrying, Using Arm/Leg/Back muscles frequently or for extended periods, Lifting 2-51+ pounds or more.


POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Passing grade of internal Telemetry Test.
  • Certified EKG/ECG Certification upon hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association required within one (1) month of hire.
