Job Summary:
Act as lead analyst of PMO Governance team
Remove unnecessary red tape as it relates to project work
Identify governance KPIs and metrics for Tech PMO processes, partner with Service Managers to govern across Technology organization
Develop standards and documentation as needed for key governance activities
Host project change request board meetings
Conduct regular centralized red/yellow project reviews with project managers and leaders
Leverage continuous improvement principles to improve Governance team operating model
Perform work independently with little or no direct supervision
Plan and distribute work across team as needed
Mentor junior team members
Critical Skills:
Enterprise level project/program management or PMO experience paired with extensive understanding of project management processes and standards
Organizational process, standards, and governance definition experience
Organizational change management and training delivery for new/updated tools or processes
Strong analytics bent, able to pull insights from any data source for continuous improvement efforts
Ability to communicate and drive new/unfamiliar process with groups of project managers
Cross-team collaboration at director/vice president levels
A customer service orientation with strong relationship building skillsets and an understanding of how to leverage emotional intelligence in the workplace
Experience:
Team or people leadership experience preferred
Bachelor’s and 5-7 years experience in a program management or PMO function, or 7-9 years experience
PMP, LEAN, or CMMI certification required
