Technician-LIS

The LIS Technician is under the direction of the LIS/Quality Manager, provides LIS support to client users. Compliance - understands and complies with the Standards of Behavior, department policies, procedures and regulations.

Minimum Requirements

Education

• N/A

Experience

• Three years of clinical laboratory experience in a large hospital setting
• One year of computer experience in a clinical laboratory setting
• Knowledge of HL7 and experience interfacing laboratory instrumentation

License/Registration/Certifications

• Certification by an acceptable laboratory registry as an MLT or MT

• Experience with Allscripts Lab computer system.
