Job Description
Overview: This position assists in the facilitation of product design and manufacturing from the initial design stage through product release and end of life.Responsibilities:

- Assist with the release to production process for new products
- Assists engineering staff on meeting the documentation criteria for product released to production
- Assists with assembling prototypes and test fixtures
- Assist engineers in the design process for production documentation
- Assist engineers in troubleshooting, diagnosis, and replication of product failures
- Assist in the generation of test procedures for new products and qualification parameters
- Perform product testing in accordance with documented test procedures
- Manage and clearly document any issues found during testing
- Document and specify new proposed features and product enhancements
Additional Functions
- Create ECN’s and update support documentation, as directed by engineering staff
- Collect earlier revision drawings and documentation for the evaluation of historic and development
- Documentation, in an effort to establish product support, as directed by engineering staff
- Assists engineering staff in the evaluation and correction of manufacturing issues for release product
- Evaluates components for product application, as directed by engineering staff
- Provide engineering specific documentation support to all departments
Qualifications:Education & Experience
- An Associate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- Bench experience in regards to electronic evaluation
- Experience in the creation of technical procedural documentation
- 5 years’ of Research and Development in an Engineering environment
Skills & Abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with CAD is preferred
- Must be able to read and interpret schematics and specifications
- Good organizational skills
- Good communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of management
