Job Description
 : Information Technology is one of the fastest-growing teams within United Wholesale Mortgage and we need a rock star Trainer to get our team members up and running and functioning at the highest level! The Technical Trainer will be responsible for creation and delivery of initial and ongoing training for a variety of IT team member roles (Software Developer, Business Analyst, Systems Engineer, etc.). We’re looking for someone who knows how to engage learners and would be a quick study when it comes to learning our lending process and the software our teams' utilize each day. - Partnering with IT leadership to provide accurate, relevant, and effective training
- Formatting the content and delivery of initial and ongoing training for IT team members
- Partnering with subject matter experts (SME) in the development of materials to teach
- Facilitating initial and ongoing training for IT team members
- Exploring and utilizing relevant third party resources such as Pluralsight
- Cross-training IT team members on other roles within IT as necessary
- Acting as a mentor to IT team members, providing 1-on-1 shadow/coaching sessions
- Collaborating with fellow trainers within IT and other areas to help our teams fulfill their training needs
Required:
- 2+ years of leading classroom based training
- Strong work ethic
- Advanced experience with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience in managing a Learning Management System
- Good communication and team-building skills
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills
- This position requires on-site attendance
Preferred:
- Previous training experience
- Agile expertise
- Office 365 experience
- Windows 10 experience
