Job Description
Our team is all-remote, and we're hiring for this role across all locations in the US.
Our goal is to provide world class technical support to our customers, and help them be successful with our products. We invest heavily in making sure our products are simple to use, though there are times things don’t go right. We strive to provide world class support to our customers to make sure their experience with our software is only enhanced by their experience with our team.
As a Technical Support Manager you will be addressing the support requests, assisting to build out our knowledge base, creating and fostering resources for customers to quickly resolve the issues that arise. You will also be a people manager, responsible for your team and their successes. You will be responsible for building a team in the US, and managing the efforts of other team members throughout the world.
Core Requirements
- Excellent communication skills in both oral and written form
- Previous experience managing individual contributors and working with a distributed team
- Top notch customer service and interaction
- Have worked in environments with Kubernetes and Docker
- Expert in Linux administration
- Deep knowledge of bash or another scripting language
- Worked in public cloud infrastructure including AWS and Google Cloud
- Experience with software development life cycles and upgrade patterns
- Passion for perfection and helping customers reach their highest
- Ability to effectively work across teams including engineering and product management to plan and prioritize your work
- BS or MS degree in computer science, engineering, other related technical fields, or equivalent industry experience
Qualifications
- Experience with Kubernetes management solutions such as: OpenShift, PKS, Rancher, Google GKE, AWS EKS, etc.
- Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD)
- Previous startup experience
