Technical Sales Support Coordinator
What you will do
Combining customer service & technical skills - We offer the ability to directly impact the customer experience in a fast paced, collaborative environment.
Primary focus is to represent customer service as part of a larger regional team and align resources to proactively address the needs of internal and external customers. Assist sales specialists and customers with product questions, technical feasibility evaluations and quotation needs using an assortment of mediums. Coordinate internal resources to respond to account needs and cross-selling when the opportunity is available. Serve as the Sales Support Helpdesk, which is the primary point of contact for any sales related inquiries.
Responsibilities will include
- Reviews proposals and preliminary quotations generated by sales teams for accuracy, communicate quote status and technical completeness or inaccuracies, generates ‘’official” quote to customer using corporate accounting system, revising quotes as necessary.
- Research inquires received via the Sales Support Helpdesk, coordinate and drive all of the necessary action items to completion.
- Strong Customer service skill
- Handles essential tasks as assigned, and responds to change productively
- Ability to adapt to a changing work schedule when needed.
- Follows all local safety procedures, State and Federal OSHA Regulations, and reports any safety concerns.
What you bring along
Experience
- BS degree in Life Sciences or a related field preferred.
- Experience with Tecan products helpful.
- 1-2 years automation/instrumentation experience desired.
- Practical knowledge of MS Office, Excel and accounting systems
Skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
