Essential Job Functions
a. Develop existing/ established TRT Process Safety and/or Technical Safety Programs
b. Identify new and value added Process Safety and/or Technical Safety Programs
c. Develop and nurture a team based, employee based, Process Safety program
d. Working and Leading in a Team based environment to fulfill all the requirements and activities identified and/or required for the purpose of improving Process and/or Technical Safety Systems at TRT.
i. Develop and Manage PHA System
ii. Manage and Oversee Management of Change System
1. Support/ Manage Senior Drafter and present Administrator of MOC System
iii. Oversee Incident Investigation Process
1. Working with established TRT Resources to insure all personnel injuries and process incidents are investigated, root causes identified and solutions initiated/implemented
iv. Process Safety Equipment
1. Support/ Manage Senior Process Safety Technician in managing internal and external resources to insure all Process Safety Equipment is routinely inspected, tested, cleaned, calibrated, replaced, etc.
2. Generate safety device specifications for vessels, heat exchangers pumps, etc.
v. Training
1. Train ALL TRT Personnel on basic and introductory Process Safety Systems and Equipment
Job Requirements
· Minimum of 3 -5 years of industrial/chemical plant work experience
· Minimum of 1-2 years in a direct, process safety management role in a specialty chemical, pharmaceutical and/or fuels/bio-fuels, or related field.
· Plant, field, site experience
· BSChE degree- Advanced degree is a plus
· Good teamwork, team building and communication skills
· Knowledge in areas of Process Safety; PHAs and Risk Assessments, Non Destructive Examination, Above Ground Storage Tanks, Pressure Vessels
· Experience with Boilers, Distillation and Fractionation Columns, Hydrolyzer Columns (and similar equipment) is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,519.00 - $96,000.00 per year
