Position Summary
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure, the Technical Architect will own and lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of Rotork’s global WAN/LAN Network Infrastructure. They will work closely with the relevant stakeholders to ensure technology solutions are designed and implemented that deliver to the requirements whilst being cost effective, secure, and supportable.
The role will focus on network problem resolution, working with teams to produce proposals and pipelines for continuous improvement of the network infrastructure, supporting major incident processes, ensuring network performance and traffic is monitored proactively, owning and gatekeeping changes to the network and advising on technology investments.
Experience Requirements:
Multilocation implementation of WAN
Network planning / network security principals knowledge
Ideal Experience:
Cisco network experience
CCNA / CCNP certifications
Azure networking
VolP design and implementation
The Successful Candidate Will Be Someone Who:
Is technically savvy
Able to work independently
Able to communicate with all levels of the business
