What are we looking for in a Team Leader?
The Team Leader for our PACT (Program for Assertive Community Treatment) team is responsible for overseeing all administrative and clinical aspects of the program. PACT is a service delivery model with the primary goal of recovery through community treatment. Its target population is those with challenging and persistent mental health issues. The PACT model is characterized by a team approach, shared caseload, time-unlimited services, flexible service delivery, and 24/7 crisis availability. The PACT Team Leader provides direction, guidance, and feedback to each member of the team, including providing clinical supervision and additional training when appropriate. Using advanced clinical skills, the Team Leader will also participate in treatment planning, crisis evaluation, case management & therapy provision, and coordination of services. The Team Leader will also have administrative duties that include coordinating admissions & discharges, tracking clients’ treatment progress and access to care within the program, ensuring staff’s timely & thorough completion of clinical documentation, and coordinating staff schedules. This role requires a confident clinician who is able to provide feedback and motivate others, while also exercising excellent clinical judgment and effective communication skills. Previous supervisory experience is helpful.
Team Leader duties may include:
- supervising & coaching program staff and managing team schedules
- providing clinical supervision toward licensure as credentials allow
- ensuring all staff adhere to trauma-informed & recovery principles
- participating in treatment by treatment planning, facilitating skill-building groups, and providing therapy & case management services
- gathering & tracking program data and implementing policies & procedures
- tracking compliance with all applicable regulations and preparing for survey & license reviews or audits
- collaborating with Comprehensive teams and community organizations to coordinate client treatment and make appropriate referrals
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field
- Minimum of two years of experience as a behavioral health clinician
- Must be eligible for designation as Mental Health Professional and for registration as Agency Affiliated Counselor
- Must have valid driver's license and vehicle liability insurance
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and provide documentation upon hire or be approved for a qualified medical or religious exemption prior to starting work
