Kumon is a Math and Reading Program focusing on making children independent and achieving their dreams.

Working Days and Timings: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays - 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM (Days and Times are flexible).

Job Responsibilities: Teaching Assistants may train in several aspects of the center operation. These areas include:

• Grading math and reading assignments,
• Verifying that student homework is complete and giving students their new assignments,
• Preparing class work for the next session, observing student study habits,
• Communicating student progress with the Instructor,
• Inputting student scores into the center management program,
• Working with students on oral math facts,
• Listening to and assessing students' oral reading,
• Guiding younger students in their lessons, and
• Administering achievement tests.

Teaching Assistants should be reliable, responsible, proactive, and friendly team players.

Center hours are Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Additional hours may be required for training and staff meetings.

Qualifications:

- High-level skills in Math and Reading

- Good part time opportunity for anyone with experience working with children.
