We are looking for a dedicated Teacher like you to be a part of our team. Promotes the physical, intellectual, social and emotional growth and development of young children by providing and supporting quality child care for Mission families in a safe, orderly, healthy and developmentally appropriate learning environment. Required Education: HS Diploma, NC Early Childcare Credential or must be willing to complete NC Credential within 6 months of hire or completion of 12 semester hours in Early Childhood Education equivalent to the NCECC or graduate of a related higher level degree program. Preferred Education: Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with at least 12 semester hours of college credit in Early Childhood Education or Child Development or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with at least 18 semester hours of college credit in Early Childhood Education or Child Development Required License: Certification in CPR and First Aid Preferred License: None Required Experience: 2 years in child care Preferred Experience: None Mission Hospital, located in Asheville, North Carolina, serves as the regional referral center for tertiary and quaternary care in western North Carolina and the adjoining region.
