Position Summary
We are seeking a Tax Accountant for our team to prepare initial federal and state tax returns, extensions, and estimates. You'll maintain company tax records and monthly tax reconciliations. You will also assist with preparation of the income tax provision and will research inquiries from government agencies regarding filings, compliance and other claims.

Position Summary

Responsibilities
- Prepares federal and state tax returns, related workpapers, extensions and estimates
- Assist in the preparation of income tax provision workpapers
- Maintains monthly tax reconciliations
- Perform income tax research and planning
- Respond to tax notices and support for tax audits
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Proficient with excel, tax return compliance software (preferably Thomson Reuters) and tax research tools
- Excellent time management, communication, decision-making, presentation, human relations, and organizational skills
- CPA Preferred

Compensation
- Base Salary: $60,000 - $80,000
- FLSA Status: Exempt
- Bonus Type: Year-end Discretionary
