This position will be a hybrid role with recruitment being approximately 50% of the role, staff development being 30% of the role, HR support 10% and DEI strategy 10% of the position.
Recruitment Responsibilities:
Responsible for all aspects of recruitment including, but not limited to:
o Set a professional appearance with high standards when representing the company
o Conduct phone interviews of applicants – knowledgeable of all positions to answer applicant questions
o Schedule, coordinate and be engaged in follow-up interviews
o Train staff involved with interviews on appropriate questions and guidelines
Drive our corporate strategies and growing DEI initiatives that attract a diverse talent pool, create an inclusive work environment and ultimately increase employee engagement

Recruitment Responsibilities:

- Full cycle recruitment including sourcing, attracting, interviewing and hiring candidates.
- Use HRIS/applicant tracking system to maintain a pipeline of candidates for all positions and manage and post all jobs and run reports.
- Schedule and attend university career fairs at different locations in CA and possibly out of state.
o Set a professional appearance with high standards when representing the company
- Manage and keep the interview process updated.
o Conduct phone interviews of applicants – knowledgeable of all positions to answer applicant questions
o Schedule, coordinate and be engaged in follow-up interviews
o Train staff involved with interviews on appropriate questions and guidelines
- Conduct reference checks and skills assessments for final applicants.
- Manage offer letter templates by positions and ensure they are updated.
- Keep abreast of talent acquisition and retention trends by attending seminars, webinars, conferences, etc. and make recommendations for improvement
- Follow and periodically update the Recruiting Strategies with HR Director
- Coordinate pre-employment activities to be completed by the new hires and internal teams
- Support staff development programs by working closely with the Human Resources Director to determine the proper process for recording, tracking development and regular reporting
- Ensure development plans are being created and followed, and that both employees and supervisors are being held accountable
- Provide training and coaching assistance to supervisors about how to effectively manage staff development
- Work with HR Director and supervisors to align development plans with individual, team and organizational goals and objectives
- Conducts follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results.
- Modify programs as needed.

- Set agendas and host monthly company meetings
- Seek out educational resources that can be shared at different levels of the organization
- Develop a diversity calendar that assures DEI is celebrated all year long
Experience:
- 4-year college degree, preferably in Human Resources or related field.
- 5 years working in Human Resources
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to learn new programs easily.
- Professional and effective communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with experience working with diverse staff. Able to work with little direction, high initiative and organizational skills. Able to work well with different levels of employees while delivering a professional and approachable manner.
- Must have at least 5 years previous experience using HRIS systems with the ability to quickly learn new programs.
