TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a key member of the Recruiting team, responsible for driving and influencing recruitment processes and our employment branding strategy. This individual will have broad responsibility for both the candidate and hiring manager experience and will build brand trust for current employees and future candidates.
This role will have full life-cycle recruiting responsibilities at all levels, using traditional and non-traditional sourcing techniques. This individual will implement strategies that drive attraction to our brand as an employer of choice, through direct sourcing, social media channels and career hiring events. This person will also have responsibility for our new hire on-boarding experience, as well as process administration and communications.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage full-cycle recruitment process, from initial job requisition creation, candidate sourcing and screening, marketing, to new hire on-boarding
- Evaluate candidate applications and conduct phone and in-person interviews, utilizing sound behavioral interview techniques to identify candidates with the appropriate skills and cultural fit with the organization
- Optimize social media and marketing content to showcase our culture, company mission, employment brand and awareness of current recruitment initiatives
- Design and produce materials to attract and retain talent locally and digitally. Work with internal business partners to identify unique employment branding opportunities while balancing the overall purpose, strategy and alignment between employment brand initiatives and the company’s overarching brand standards.
- Drive content creation, differentiation, and engagement across platforms including LinkedIn, Twitter, Glassdoor, career blogs.
- Manage Applicant Tracking System, maintaining and updating candidate records
- Initiate and track new talent on-boarding process
- Advocate for Swisslog and participate in recruitment events, industry events, and career fairs
- Assist with all forms of candidate communication administration
- Create job descriptions, post internal job openings and assist in the transfer/promotion process
- Develop a thorough understanding of Swisslog’s recruitment process and take ownership of assigned requisitions from job posting through offer extension
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with potential talent, hiring managers, channel partners, and third parties
- Coordinate phone, video, and onsite interviews for candidates with speed, efficiency, and accuracy
- Identify and utilize new candidate sourcing channels
- Create and maintain relationships with colleges in proximity to all office locations
- Assist with travel arrangements for candidates when needed
- Coordinate travel arrangements and first week agendas for all new remote employees traveling to Denver for on-boarding
- Provide administrative support for all Talent Acquisition related services
- Work with minimal supervision to plan, prioritize, communicate and organize a diversified workload and manage special projects
- Prior to hire, act as liaison for candidates through their on-boarding process
- Process candidates’ expense reimbursements
- Process background screening requests and track status
- Provide high touch customer service to candidates, hiring managers and administrative staff
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, or Marketing
- 2-5 years’ experience in Recruiting or Human Resources
- Experience working with recruitment social media channels (e.g. LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed, Twitter, Facebook)
- Strong project management experience and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency and understanding of Microsoft Office, Email and social media platforms
- Ability to prioritize, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and achieve goals on time
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and leading campaigns and events
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exemplary customer service, detail orientation and follow-up skills.
- Experience with candidate evaluation and interviewing techniques (e.g. behavioral interviews)
- Ability to work with and safeguard confidential information
