Summary:

We are looking for an out-going, motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to help execute our talent recruitment and acquisition functions. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will work closely with business leaders to help them source, recruit, and hire great people. What you ll do:

  • Build our workforce of tomorrow while meeting the business needs of today; anticipate staffing needs, build candidate pipelines
  • Develop strong working relationships and collaborate with hiring managers to create successful recruiting efforts
  • Create attention-grabbing and persuasive advertisements with a keen understanding of the targeted audience; seek appropriate advertising venues; grow recruiting networks; post job postings and advertisements to appropriate advertising channels
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Branding department to develop marketing; engage candidates through social media; actively demonstrate positive branding practices
  • Build relationships and serve as liaison to community and managers relative to talent acquisition
  • Understand how we compare in our strategies and abilities as we strive to be an industry leader with talent acquisition
  • Support hiring managers in drafting and proofreading offer letters, pre-employment assessments and hiring support
  • Collect metrics, data and create reports relative to recruitment efforts
  • Ensure that Talent Acquisition page and documents on SharePoint are relevant and up to date
  • Compose and maintain current job descriptions
  • Act as point of contact for unsolicited candidates
  • Coordinate participation in and attend college career fairs
  • Assist Talent Manager with On-Boarding efforts
  • Work with Talent Manager to execute talent acquisition initiatives
  • Take lead on Affirmative Actions and EEO compliance

What we re looking for:

  • Bachelor s degree in an applicable field of study
  • Bilingual - ability to read and write in Spanish is preferred, but not required
  • Strong interest and serious commitment to recruiting future talent
  • Experience with recruiting all types of candidates
  • Strength and confidence with spending time on the phone making connections, sourcing candidates and developing relationships with managers
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to write, proofread and edit at a high level
  • Solid organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
  • Competitive, highly energetic, and creative mindset
  • Strong work ethic, initiative and problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruiting, labor/employment laws, recruitment methodologies/techniques, and the local and regional area job market
  • Ability to work independently to execute concurrent activities and projects in a timely manner; work under deadlines
  • Professional demeanor (appearance, attitude, and behavior)
  • Willingness to be part of a collaborative & cohesive HR team and unselfishly cooperate with others
  • Experience and proficiency with technology (i.e., Microsoft Office, internet researching)
