The Talent Acquisition Specialist provides the highest level of talent acquisition services to hiring managers across the organization and supports all facets of our recruiting success. He/she seeks out skilled individuals for employment at colleges and universities. He/she enhances our robust college relations and recruiting program by evaluating, planning and implementing best practices to insure a pipeline of college talent from select construction management and civil engineering programs.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist provides the highest level of talent acquisition services to hiring managers across the organization and supports all facets of our recruiting success. He/she seeks out skilled individuals for employment at colleges and universities. He/she enhances our robust college relations and recruiting program by evaluating, planning and implementing best practices to insure a pipeline of college talent from select construction management and civil engineering programs.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job)
- Develop relationships with existing and potential University construction management or civil engineering programs.
- Coordinate & schedule university campus events for recruiting & company recognition.
- Oversee campus visits by ensuring appropriate R&M staff and materials are available.
- Develop/Update our college recruiting on-campus presentations.
- Attend career fairs and other campus events.
- Coordinate & implement college-recruiting initiatives for designated hiring managers.
- Assist in management of the Co-Op/Internship Program.
- Assist in management of Field Engineer hiring process.
- Develop & maintain relationships with R&M Co-Ops/Interns.
- Maintain complete recruiting/prospect log for tracking potential candidates.
- Build & maintain network of contacts to help identify & source qualified candidates.
- Create and place job postings using various sources.
- Contribute to establishment of an “employer of choice” reputation for the company.
- Continuously evaluate effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
- Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
- Maintain technological and recruitment process knowledge in order to provide the most innovative recruitment efforts for the company.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job)
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in construction recruiting.
- Ability to drive short and long term recruiting visions and maintain strong business understanding.
- Effective verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to establish professional, trusting and meaningful relationships with candidates, potential candidates, clients, industry professionals and Robins & Morton staff.
- Excellent computer skills in all Microsoft Office Programs.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and to identify and resolve problems timely.
- Excellent organization skills.
- Must demonstrate resourcefulness and initiative.
