Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Contributes to identifying/creating resource requirements for recruiting (reqs)
  • Supports candidate interviews
  • Executes comprehensive search strategies to recruit top quality candidates, including networking, convening and hosting events and webinars, direct sourcing, social media, emails, and referrals
  • Proactively works with Proposals, Hiring Managers, CEO and HR Director to tailor job requisitions and subsequent recruiting strategy to the company’s specific hiring needs
  • Proactively tracks the recruiting lifecycle progress and all recruiting activities in our applicant tracking system
  • Collaborates with Accounting and HR Director to support rate development and salaries for job requisitions based on company budget, market rates and historical data for each role
  • Manage the SCG Recruiting Lifecycle Policy and Processes; analyze staffing trends, results and internal operations for continuous improvement of our strategies and process
  • Facilitate the screening and selection process between candidates and hiring teams which includes internal training as necessary
  • Create and manage diverse talent pipelines
  • Create regular and ad hoc recruiting reports; produce and provide metrics for HR Business Partner review
  • Provide input into the project Talent Acquisition Strategy to enhance diversity, recruitment, and retention strategies
  • Supports Business Development
  • Supports opportunity identification / pipeline development and management
  • Supports the maintenance of annual key events list
  • Supports Opportunity Assessment and qualification
  • Supports gathering preliminary customer and program intelligence
  • Supports the cultivation of initial position with customer in conjunction with SCG Rep
  • Supports competition assessments
  • Supports monitoring and planning for IDIQs
  • Contributes to sales of resource to existing subcontracts
  • Supports networking for partners & teaming relationships
  • Supports relationship maintenance in order to find opportunities - understand their strengths
  • Supports identifying/creating opportunity specific teaming - value propositions / presentations - persuading
  • Supports work share negotiations
  • Supports NDA, TA, Sub Agreements
  • Supports gathering intel and learning the opportunity key areas, high level understanding of viable, competitive Solutioning
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years’ work in professional services and/or consulting environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of other editing and publication software
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to high quality customer service interactions and consistent quality output
  • Significant experience in building and advancing client relationships and developing partnerships involving human capital.
  • Ability to function in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment and capacity to handle multiple objectives and workflows
  • Detail-oriented, able to work independently, solution focused, results driven, and an excellent communicator.
  • Proven track record at being the driving force of an organization’s growth in and/or developing the human capital requirements of a business development strategy

* This position is remote for the most part but is required to be present in the Baltimore office only when required.

* This is a contract to hire position.
