Provides operational user support, training, customer services and assistance to all departments. Coordinates issue resolution with financial records systems and clinic software system provider.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the education / training of all supported applications.
- Provides user support on software and hardware questions and problems. Assists computer users in resolving problem situations. Complies with the policies and procedures established by the Manager, Information Systems.
- Assists in performing maintenance on computer hardware.
- Provides departmental reports in response to management requests.
- Performs device setup in all functional areas such as printers, PC’s Terminals, and network / communications.
- Interprets policies and makes recommendations for revision.
- Assists in developing procedures and operating documentation.
- Communicates updated information to system users at all levels.
- Manages the accuracy and currency of the system master files.
- Demonstrates commitment to customer service by:
- Building effective working relationships and treating others with respect
- Interacting with customers (Patients, co-workers and visitors) in a warm and friendly way.
- Taking immediate action to meet customers’ needs or requests.
- Listening to understand what customers have to say.
15. Maintains, upgrades, and builds network Nodes, infrastructure, connectivity devices, and Servers at all levels for both wired and wireless LANs and WAN connectivity

1. Maintains flexibility to adapt to a variety of workload assignments and changing priorities.
2. Job requires the ability to present to and teach groups of people
3. Maintain working relationships cross-departmentally to assure appropriate levels of support and services.
4. Provides recommendations for strategies and resource allocation needed to meet system related goals.
5. Monitors quality improvement and auditing to insure full compliance with federal and state guidelines.
6. Regularly covers the I.S. Help Desk phone and assist users with general I.S. issues.?

QUALIFICATIONS (Required):
1. Ability to communicate information to system users at all levels
2. Education: BS degree in Information Systems or Business field or high school diploma and related experience
3. Mastery of Microsoft applications including Microsoft Office Suite, Windows Operating systems and Internet
4. Must have obtained and is currently maintaining 2 “Entry-level” or 1 “mid-level” Information Technology certifications. – See Paragraph below for definition and list of currently approved I.T. certifications.
5. An ‘Entry “Level’ Information Technology certification typically validates the knowledge of computer or network technicians with approximately 1 year of hands-on experience. A ‘mid level’ Information Technology certification typically validates the knowledge of computer or network technicians with approximately 2 years of hands-on experience. These are foundation + specialty level certifications. Livingston HealthCare recognizes that there are other I.T. certifications not listed below, and will consider those as a substitute, at the discretion of the Director of Information Systems and the CEO.

d. Microsoft Office Specialist (Master Certification) in Office version XP (2002) or higher.
e. Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)

Mid-Level
i. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)

ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
