Position Summary
The purpose of this position is to work with customers, third-parties, and internal JJKA team members to identify and understand the core business objectives and work to develop solutions that support and advance those objectives, specifically around integrations between JJKA products/services and other internal and external products and systems.
Job Responsibilities
- Works directly with internal and external stakeholders to elicit and document integration requirements. Works directly with strategic clients as appropriate.
- Effectively manages requirements including traceability throughout the project life cycle.
- Develops a solution assessment, based on business requirements and recommends a detailed integration approach while considering factors including, but not limited to, the customer's requirements, existing technology and infrastructure, scalability, maintainability, cost, ease of use, and re-use.
- Translates conceptual user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers and other project team members. Where necessary, develops prototypes of interfaces, process flow models, specifications, diagrams, and charts.
- Develops and conducts peer reviews to ensure requirement specifications are correctly interpreted and participates in quality assurance testing.
- Works closely with the Product Management team to validate designs against current product functionality and product direction.
- Works closely Product Management leadership on product roadmap and proactively suggests new solutions or enhancements related to integration.
- Drives integration design, functional, and technical discussions and issue resolution across multiple vendors.
- Partners with the Development Team and external development teams to reach consensus on best technical approach, solution validation, testing, and production rollout.
- Works with a variety of teams to vet new integration opportunities and provides input for Sales and Implementation. Input includes technical requirements and pricing proposals related to integration.
- Facilitates on-going changes to integration design to stay current with changing business needs and changing technology.
- Continually works to gauge the effectiveness and efficiency of existing product integration points; develops and implements strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
- Prepares and updates system and process documentation for product integrations.
- Provides 2nd level support for support calls related to product integration.
- Serves as the key business contact on issues relating to product integration requirements and functionality. Interfaces directly with government entities as appropriate.
- Troubleshoots system errors and performance problems so that business needs are met on a timely basis.
- Helps define system security profiles related to product integration.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree required in Technology or Business field.
Experience:
- 5+ years experience working with software applications and integrations.
- Project management and business analysis experience.
- Experience analyzing, designing, and testing integrations between multiple systems.
- Experience working directly with development teams.
- Experience with 3rd party vendors a plus.
Computer Skills:
- Experience with XML-based technologies (XSD, XSLT, XPath, WSDL) and SOA interfaces (SOAP, REST, JSON) a plus.
- Strong technical understanding of integration protocols including APIs, web services, and others.
Other Skills/Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills and technical aptitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of system integration processes, techniques, and related technologies.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong project management and business analysis skills.
- Ability to facilitate project teams and work with all levels within the company.
- Agile/Scrum methodology a plus.
Physical Requirements
Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for extended periods of time. Occasional travel to offsite offices or customer sites may also be required, depending on assignment.

Compensation and benefits information for this position is being included in accordance with requirements of the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. J. J.
