Job Description
Visa’s Corporate IT (CIT) organization is adding a Systems Analyst role to its People Technology team, focused on configuration of our People Technology Systems, including, but not limited to, Workday. We need you to use your hands-on People Technology experience to design, build and deliver solutions on time, as promised. We need people who are curious and creative and that may have experience in vendor applications like Workday or SmartRecruiters. We don’t limit your imagination in how you design outstanding experiences for our customers.
You will work closely with hardworking leaders who deliver best-in-class solutions to hire, grow and inspire talent at Visa. Together, we will proactively foster new ways technology can make Visa the best place to work for everyone, everywhere.
Essential Functions:
- Participate in technology project delivery activities such as estimation, design, development, testing, L1 support training, deployment, launch and post-launch readiness.
- Partner with lead analysts to explore, evaluate, recommend, and design new features and functionalities with Workday and/or other HR applications
- Participate in security assessment activities for HR systems by partnering with vendors to meet Visa’s Security Standards.
- Conduct root cause analysis of problems and apply business knowledge and practical experience to recommend system and product improvements
- Identify and overcome risks, blockers, and technology limitations to meet stakeholder expectations.
- Use Agile methodology to deliver solutions.
- Sustain existing solutions and promote ideas that mature existing solutions.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 2 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 or more years of work experience or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) in Engineering, Information Systems or related technical subject area
- Experience with SaaS and externally hosted HR solution management such as Workday HCM, ADP, SmartRecruiters, ServiceNow, Cornerstone strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of web services, APIs, XML and prior experience using tools like SOAPUI and Postman
- Prior experience building requirements for systems implementations – including but not limited to functional design documents, file specifications, data flow diagrams etc.
- Experience working effectively with business and IT staff in multiple locations, including onshore/offshore
- Strong follow-through, ability to drive to closure and resolution of complex system issues
- Demonstrated ability to absorb, analyze, and understand new information, technologies and practices quickly
- Outstanding communication and customer facing skills, able to interact effectively with diverse groups of global business partners, both technical and business users
