Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support organizations applications systems
2. Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives
3. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular area
4. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job from Director of Information Systems
5. System administrator for multiple networks to include monitoring and controlling hard disk space usage. Monitoring files server workload and performance
6. Adding and maintaining user logins and workstation information
7. Checking maintenance of network devices on a regular basis
8. Performing routine maintenance on databases and other software stored on the network
9. Performing scheduled backups of files stored on the server
10. Handheld support for both Route Sale and Pre Sales to include
- Assisting users with daily operations of handheld computers
- Assisting users at depots with daily operations of the host PC’s for handheld computers .Maintaining software of handheld computers and the host PC
- Sending for repairs when needed (handheld , Printers and other handheld related equipment)
- Inventory and tracking of handhelds, printers and other related equipment
11.Manage information exchange between different systems installed at company between handheld and PeopleSoft , Roadnet, VMSS, and other related databases
12.Assisting users with the software tools available for information exchange between systems
13. Coordinating transfer requests from PeopleSoft files or reports to be downloaded for use with computer software
14.Must have a working knowledge of general operations of the departments of Pepsi and Crisp Container and Crisp Reality
15.Must be knowledgeable of the files structures on operating systems and the software used to maintain them. Will support the users who maintain these files
16.Will assist in software development to help insure the integrity of the files on operating systems
17. To perform and assist in any duties as deemed necessary by the Information Systems Director

- Bachelor's in Computer Science
