Surveyor

Summary: Perform various construction surveying related task utilizing Trimble GPS and Total Station, to produce clear, complete, and concise results in a timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to learn Site localization and set-up, pre-surveys, production surveys and collect as-builts as necessary
• Perform site staking/layout and grade checking as necessary
• Produce quantity reports for project managers and superintendents

Requirements:

• Strong mathematical skills.
• Excellent Communication skills both oral and written when working alongside all levels of management, co-workers, vendors and clients
• Experience with Trimble data collection software & surveying equipment
• Must be a motivated self-starter, team player with the desire to learn and advance
• Must be able to work in outdoor environments, including prolonged walking and standing on uneven terrain and variable weather conditions
• Must possess clean driving record and valid driver's license to drive company vehicle
• Must have basic computer skills such as email, file retrieval, downloading/uploading and saving data

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
