Job Description
Poggemeyer Design Group, a Kleinfelder Company, is currently searching for a Survey Design Technician to join our Team in the Bowling Green, Ohio office.Responsibilities:Using Trimble equipment and software and AutoCAD Civil 3D or Microstation:
  • Field collection of topographic survey data.
  • Perform construction staking.
  • Prepare boundary surveys and plat drawings under the supervision of a Professional Surveyor.
  • Process field data and prepare topographic survey drawings.
  • Prepare construction layout drawings.
  • Prepare various site plans and utility plans.
Summary: Responsible for preparing survey and civil drawings using computer-aided design software applications such as AutoCAD or Microstation. Responsibilities and Duties: Using AutoCAD Civil 3D or Microstation:
  • Prepare boundary surveys and plat drawings under the supervision of a Professional Surveyor.
  • Process field data and prepare topographic survey drawings.
  • Prepare utility basemap drawings.
  • Prepare various site plans and utility plans.
  • Prepare construction layout drawings.
  • Prepare as-built drawings from field notes and survey data.
  • Follow project schedules and internal budgets.
  • Follow internal and/or client procedures and standards
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D or Microstation.
  • Associate or Technical Degree in CAD, Survey, Construction, or Engineering related fields preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Survey or Civil related CAD drafting preferred.
  • Word and Excel experience.
