Surgical Services Specialist(Full-time-100%) Days

The Surgical Services Specialist is a member of the APMC/AGMC health care team working directly under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. The Surgical Services Specialist is responsible for managing the overall operations of the Sterile Processing Departments of Adena Pike and Adena Greenfield. The individual oversees the processing, cleaning, inventory, packaging sterilization and distribution of surgical instrumentation and ensures compliance with all regulatory accreditation standards and the Adena Health System policies. Caregiver will collaborate with the members of all Sterile Processing Departments within Adena Health System. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; scrubbing surgical procedures, maintaining aseptic and sterile technique, assisting in care of the patient, assisting in maintaining and operating the endoscopy instruments and equipment, monitor sterilization records and coordinates the acquisition and distribution of all operating room supplies while following budgetary guidelines and hospital policy.
