We Are Hiring: Scheduling System Specialist

Schedule: Hours fall between 0600-1830 Extended shifts may be considered (10/12 hour shifts) Saturday rotation No Holidays

Pay: From $17.29/hour (Increases with experience)

In a single day, staff from 4 specialty based teams work within 16 Operating Room Suites to handle as many as 40 cases ranging from Cardiothoracic, Neuro/Orthopedics/Dental, General/Vascular/ ENT, GYN, Urology, to Plastics surgery. Waukesha Memorial Hospitals Operating Rooms average 8,500 procedures annually including da Vinci Robotic procedures performed within more specialties routinely than any other facility in SE Wisconsin. The OR suite also includes a newly built Hybrid OR and a fully integrated Minimally Invasive Robotic room.

You are responsible for all aspects of the EPIC Op-time computer system for scheduling surgery cases, postop data entry and data retrieval. You will handle add-on cases for the day of surgery and monitor traffic in and out of the department. You will also answer phones and page call staff and physicians when needed. This position is accountable for contributing to smooth daily interactions with all stakeholder (doctors, nurses, techs, assistants, students, and ancillary departments) at the control desk

What You Will Need:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA)
Strong Medical Terminology
