Job Description
Job Details: 1st Shift Production Supervisor Summary: This position is responsible for maintaining production goals while ensuring quality products are being produced to meet our customers’ demands. This role requires an essential understanding of production control processes, accurate record keeping, staffing, and general line maintenance while establishing the highest standard to meet production specs. Responsibilities include checking daily production orders, ensuring every position is filled before startup, and overseeing team members. In addition, this person will promote our safety culture by conducting morning exercises and job rotations. Promoting a safe working environment by collaborating with the Safety and OSH manager. Participate in monthly safety meetings while providing innovative ideas. Compliance with QA practices verifying workstations pass QA inspection. Ensuring accurate shipment, inventory, and proper coding of products. Knowledge of company benefits and compensation. Team up with the HR department to administer disciplinary actions. Promote a team building experience while engaging team members to become part of a committee and generate new ideas for continuous improvement. Collaborate with our training department to train team members and seek out prospective buddies. Seek to understand team members and offer guidance and provide quick resolution to issues that arise.
