Under the supervision of the Plant Operations Manager, this position is responsible scheduling production lines and the development of inventory plans to maximize the plant’s running efficiency while minimizing labor and storage costs to be consistent with plant goals.Responsibilities: The statements below are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job. Create production schedule for production lines and monitor schedule adherence and reported labor constraints- Utilize Demand Planning tools(i2) and other ERP systems (SAP) to analyze inventory levels and maintain adequate supply for US market items.
- Process order management
- Create and maintain Bills of Material
- Assist in packaging inventory review and ordering to support all manufacturing facilities
- Work closely with operations cross functional groups on critical supply issues and other projects
- Analyze inventory at McDonough location and recommend stock transfers to other distribution locations (APO)
- Coordinate closely with Transportation, Regional Warehouse Managers, and Sales Support teams on critical inventory issues, special projects, and customer requirements
- Provide daily, weekly, monthly productivity reports
- Maintain positive, professional, and timely communications with various internal customers
- Ad hoc reporting as needed to support operations team
- Other duties as assigned
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and in team settings
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required
- Experience with SAP and/or other ERP software preferred

Education & Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related area. If no bachelor’s degree candidate must have 2+ years’ experience in supply planning.
- 2-3 years’ experience in Planning experience required; 3-5 years operational planning experience preferred

- Ability to sit and use the computer for extended periods of time; ability to answer phones and use a variety of office equipment; ability to lift 15 pounds and reach overhead.
- Must be able to bend/stoop/squat/twist/kneel and turn throughout workday, for varying lengths of time.
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms below shoulder level to above shoulder level.
- Must be able to climb stairs and ladders.
