This position will report directly to Director of Supply Chain and be responsible for the following:
- Supports and executes the strategic sourcing plan for all materials, manufacturing equipment, and component parts.
- Negotiates agreements and terms with vendors, nurturing key relationships throughout the supply chain.
- Manages supply chain personnel to ensure proper inventory, ordering, receiving, storage and requisition processes are adhered to.
- Assists with development of the annual budget as well as periodic forecasts related to key financial data such as revenue, cost of goods sold, inventory, purchases, obsolescence, and transportation.
- Develops metrics for forecast accuracy, planning data integrity, S&OP performance, service and inventory accuracy.
- Assists with developing planning forecasts for supply chain capabilities and manufacturing capacities with emphasis on developing risk management programs for short-term, mid-term, and long-term horizons.
- Works across a variety of business functions, including Sales and Marketing, DevOps/Ecom, Quality, Production and Executive Teams to align demand and supply plans for services and products in multiple business units.
- Assists with designing and developing robust processes to ensure value added supply chain services.
- Assists with the design and development of business ERP system, as well as data-gathering tools and strategies.
Requirements
- Minimum five years managing global supply chain operations in a food/dietary supplement/pharmaceutical environment or similar industry. Candidates with ISO, ANSI, CGMP compliance background strongly preferred.
- Minimum five years leadership background managing Teams of 20 or more.
- 5+ years experience managing integrated supply chain operations including: import/export, inventory optimization, logistics, planning, budgeting, procurement, analytics, and business development operations.
- Demonstrated understanding of financial systems and the key drivers within the manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of inventory control methodology, including inventory planning, forecasting, cost optimization and variance reconciliation in a manufacturing environment.
- High attention to detail, ability to multi-task and demonstrated ability to resolve complex problems and ensure critical deadlines are met throughout the supply chain.
- Ability to lead by example and facilitate collaboration with all Team Members.
- Excellent PC and technical skills (MS Office, Google Suite, ERP/WMS), including strong background in analytical spreadsheet applications.
- World-class writing, communication and math skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent combination of education, training and related work experience in an applicable industry.
- APICS, Lean Six Sigma and/or CSCP/CPSM/CPIM certification preferred.
