POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate in solving some of the most complex challenges. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Create/maintain Supply Chain Standard Operating Procedures and Lead indicators
- Drive performance improvements by utilizing continuous improvement methodologies Lean, Six Sigma
- Lead process to identify gaps and develop procedures to ensure flow of information in the procure to pay P2P process.
- Enable the information flow needed to manage global sourcing process both on Ship Repair and Fabrication, requiring coordination of multiple workgroups within Vigor such as NTS, global transportation/logistics, Ops, finance, AP, etc.
- Leads projects, linking project steps to business strategies. Ensures plans support business needs and goals and that project objectives and deadlines are easily tracked
- Presents project recommendations to appropriate personnel that demonstrate sound planning in support of business needs and goals
- Handles a wide variety of non-routine and difficult inquiries where the solution is not immediately apparent. Most complex problem solving may require developing solutions for complex and diverse issues that may be interrelated, requiring significant interpretation and the use of strong analytical skills
- Analyzes efficiency of movement of materials and products within and outside the company; recommends changes; conducts supply chain, warehouse, etc. analyses and provides specific recommendations and actions to management
- Continuously plan, analyze, and optimize our supply chain network
- Identifies and initiates innovations and solutions utilizing IFS ERP where precedents and procedures may not exist. Works cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes.

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Vigor requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- High level of Excel Skills (h-lookups, modeling, index, macros)
- Past experience should include: inventory management, supply chain management (including flow of finished goods), and/or data analytics
- Other helpful experience may include: transportation management, logistics planning, and carrier management
- Strong attention to detail and strong organization skills
- Working knowledge of IFS ERP functionality and ability to configure IFS system.
- Data system experience preferably Trackvia
- Experience leading and working with cross-functional teams
- IFS systems experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong Data Analytical Skills
- Supply Chain/DC Operations/Customer Facing Experience
JOB SCOPE:
This position works within established parameters and requires regular use of sound judgment to make recommendations on business process improvements within job authorities. Impact of recommendations and work is broad and could potentially reach across all business units and support departments. The incumbent is responsible for planning, recommending, configuring, supporting, and defining reports for IFS ERP software.

INTERPERSONAL CONTACTS:
incumbent communicates regularly through both verbal and written form in understandable terms with all levels of the company, including senior executives. The incumbent may coach more junior team members.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain and/or Business Administration from an accredited institution
- Five (5) years of Supply Chain experience
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt trained
- Must be a well-organized, detail and customer (internal) oriented self-starter.
- Must be able to handle competing priorities and deadlines effectively and respond well to last minute, high priority, and time sensitive projects and must be able to reprioritize effectively as business needs change.
- Ability to efficiently schedule, direct and organize work and coordinate work with other departments.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
- Three (3) years of Able to work independently without close supervision and exercises independent judgment and discretion.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a business analyst.
- Must have 1+ year IFS new implementation/upgrade experience.
- Must maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Formal project management training preferred, but not required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS: None required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work is conducted in a dynamic, fast-paced office setting. The individual may be required to be in production areas in yard and onboard ships. He/she must be able to walk to and from job sites. He/she may be required to work more than 8-hour shifts and weekend work.
